over on pegwarmers some people have been making some spray paint t-shirts. it's something i've done a couple of times in the past and i've been wanting to try it again. i'm a big Elvis Costello fan but he doesn't have a lot available in the way of t-shirts these days so i made a stencil and made these:

i'm pretty happy with how they turned out. hopefully they don't fade too much after a few washes.

Well I've tried and I've tried
and I'm still mystified.
I can't do it anymore
and I'm not satisfied.

buy some textile medium, smear it thinly over the paint, let dry, toss in the dryer for 10, and fading will NOT be an issue.
looks damn nice!

i ironed it before washing it which helps some, but it still faded a bit. i'll try the textile medium next time. sounds rad.

That's really cool. Is there some kind of special paint you use for that or is just your garden variety Krylon?

are you supposed to iron it/throw it in the dryer while it's still wet or do you wait for it to dry?
